The Beijing Olympic Games are at their climax and are capturing attentios from all over the world: our athletes push us to use every energy to overcome our limits. Unimec accepts this challenge and enriches the Italian market with a new player, Unimec Citius.

In the path of the Latin language, to "Ars Mechanica", the pay-off testifying the way to do well and our origins which means both "engineering" and "art in mechanics", the comparative form "citius" is added, which means “faster". It reads "cizius" and the link with the Olympics is strong, being part of the Olympic motto - Citius, Altius, Fortius (faster, higher, stronger) - coined by the famous Baron de Cubertin in 1924. There is therefore no best time to launch this news or, at least, it happens only once a two-year period!

In the last few months we have been extremely busy with the organization of various digital webinars that we have amply discussed in the previous press releases; this didn’t prevent us from further implementing additional important improvements.

The Ancient Olympics were a special moment in which all activities, including warfare, were suspended and the world gathered around its athletes to see who was the strongest, the fastest, or who jumped the highest.

The XXIV Winter Olympics began on Friday 4, based in Beijing, the first city to host a summer and a winter edition.

For the next two weeks Unimec wants to pay homage to this worldwide event, together with the entire sales network. Every day we will update the Olympic medal table, honoring the Countries that have won the Olympic laurels together with the Unimec resellers: it is our way to join with them in their victories, to be competitive in the sign of sportsmanship and loyalty, to feel everyone, simply, men.

July 7, 2001 – July 7, 2021: 20 years have passed from the day, that one summer afternoon, a tornado hit the Brianza region and leveled the Unimec factory. 

At Unimec we have always considered training as a vital tool for all of our distributors and partners and made it a point to not allow the Covid-19 pandemic to affect our commitment to continue such an essential activity.

In the most recent years we have invested considerable resources to digitalize a variety of processes, improve our online tool suite and offer a much easier, complete and prompt service to our users.

In the last 18 months, the entire world was faced with multiple health crises, causing a plethora of preventative norms and restrictions that had a severe impact on the production capacity of many companies.

Fortunately, Unimec was not only able to successfully navigate through the maze of ever-changing directives, but took this opportunity to expand the staff and strengthen its productivity.

Last week we introduced our webinar scheduled for February 5, 2021: an entirely digital event dedicated to our international distributors to showcase our new Argo platform.
