BIEMH 2022: exceptional turnout for Unimec Hispania!

The Bienal Internacional de Máquina-Herramienta (BIEMH) 2022, one of the main international events in the machine tool and advanced production industry, has just closed the curtain in Bilbao, Spain.

This 31st edition of the Bilbao biennial event, the first post-pandemic international event in the industry, was awaited with particular excitement and trepidation.

The show was a success: the official numbers report an overall attendance of approximately 35,000 visitors from 52 different countries and more than 1,400 exhibitors from 28 countries around the world.

Our Unimec Hispania booth was a true catalyst for a diverse mix of guests: visitors, suppliers, local distributors (amongst whom, Rulitrans Ingenieros, a Basque power transmission integrator with over 40 years of experience) and more in general a multitude of people whose attention was captured by the “fuchsia” of our screw jacks and bevel gear reducers.

The trade show was also an opportunity to inform the public that Unimec is now certifying again the entire product range under the ATEX Directive, a European directive dictating the minimum safety requirements for workplaces and equipment used in explosive atmospheres.

The 2022 Bilbao trade show was the first international industry event for some of our employees: at the end of the show everyone was thrilled and favorably impressed by the incredible turnout at our Unimec Hispania booth.

Needless to say, our minds are already flying to the next Bienal Internacional de Máquina-Herramienta, scheduled on June 3 - 7, 2024!
