From the MetalMadrid Trade Show in Spain to the “2018 European Branch” convention: fall at Unimec is full of marketing and training events

There will be plenty of trade shows, international events and training sessions this fall with Unimec.

Below, some of the most important dates that mark this exciting time of the year:

MetalMadrid

On September 26-27, Unimec attended the 12th edition of the MetalMadrid trade show with the help of our local Madrid Distributor: over 9,000 visitors traveled to the Spanish capital to visit one of the most important events for industrial innovation in Europe.

EPTDA

On September 26-28 we also attended the usual EPTDA meeting, a polarizing event with all of the main manufacturers and operators in the Power Transmission field.

MSV

On October 1-5, together with our local distributor Matis S.R.O., we attended the MSV mechanical trade Show in Brno, Czech Republic.

Certification Renewal

On October 4, Unimec went through an extensive certification renewal process for the following standards:

• ISO 9001: 2008
• ISO 14001:2015
• BS OHSAS 18001:2007

At Unimec we take certifications very seriously: our strict observance to the most stringent quality and process protocols is a vital aspect of our business model and serves as a benchmark for all of our activities and plans.

Mr. Fernando, BSC Business System Certification’s Managing Director traveled all the way from Australia, attended the process in person and personally congratulated us for the excellent job.

Distributor Training

21 people from Gruppo Minetti S.p.A. attended our yearly technical training. The training was also an opportunity to illustrate the many resources available in our brand new website, such as our sizing tool, our cost estimator, our serial number database search, a reserved area with an extensive3D CAD library as well as our Configurator, an innovative tool allowing the user to navigate through the 80 billion possible combinations in terms of accessories and options in order identify the best Unimec product for the application.

Motek

On October 8-11, we will be in Stuttgart, with our branch Unimec Deutschland and will exhibit at the Motek 2018 trade show , Europe’s leading event in the fields of production and assembly automation and material handling, Unimec will be a Hall 6, Booth 6124.

European Branch Convention

After the extremely successful event earlier in January this year, we have an additional technical-sales training for our European Branches and some of their Distributors. Our international friends will convene for a 2-day seminar at our Milan, Italy global headquarters.
