Unimec says goodbye to 2018: a look at the past to keep growing in the future.

2018 is winding down: if, on one hand, we are already leaning towards the New Year and all of the exciting projects awaiting us, on the other hand we always keep in mind that our future is directly linked to our history and the many steps that led us to become the company that we are today. For this reason, before saying goodbye to 2018, we would like to catch this opportunity to run a recap of the most important events of the year:

January

At the end of January we organized a 2-day international summit with partners from 21 foreign countries: the goal was to provide an opportunity for a detailed factory tour and offer a comprehensive outlook of our manufacturing process.

March

We traveled to Turkey to attend the WIN Trade Show with our local distributor Aden Industrial: The WIN is an international event that takes place in Istanbul.

May

From Turkey to Spain: at the end of May we went to Bilbao for the 30th edition of the BIEHM, Bienal Española de la Máquina-Herramienta; during the event our visitors had an opportunity to see a corporate movie tracing our history and take a look at the new general catalog in Spanish.

October

We started the month of October with the latest update to the Microsoft Navision system: the new functionalities of the latest edition will significantly improve the Industry 4.0 manufacturing processes.

We also exhibited at the Motek, the German event in which we launched our new German language general catalog and illustrated the latest interactive tools and innovations of our new website.

In October we also organized the 2018 Branch Convention, a 2-day event for all of our European Branches and many European distributors during which we provided a detailed technical training session tutored by our Technical Department professionals.

November

Two latest generation Lizzini lathes (one for indoor use and one for outdoors) were ordered and deployed in our manufacturing layout; these new machines will greatly improve our lead time and help us offer better service to all of our customers.

December

In December, we implemented a state-of-the-art testing center for our Bevel Gear Reducers.

This brand new testing center will allow us to perform extremely comprehensive testing and analysis on almost the entire range of our Bevel Gear Reducers.

In the next few months we will also install an additional testing center for all of our Screw Jacks;

New Website, new catalogs, new interactive tools to greatly improve our user experience; training sessions for all of our partners and distributors to further improve the overall quality of our services; new latest generation machines, international events and much more…
