In support of its own planning skills and productive flexibility, Unimec realized, starting from a customer's need, a special bevel gearbox (size 200) with three exit shafts located at 120° angle.

“The client was in the planning stage of a three tooth clamp for the steel industry, designed for the movement of big raw metal discs. The client originally thought of a complex kinematics movement to guarantee the synchronous movement of the three teeth on the model of a self-centring” explains Alessandro Maggioni, CEO of Unimec SpA.

“Unimec Technical Department provided a cheap and easy solution: a special three shafts sump, studied specifically for this application which has brilliantly settled the customer's need saving a lot of time and money”.
