Are you sure of the efficiency of your bevel gear reducer? With Unimec you will be: let the revolution begin!

As previously mentioned in one our press releases back in December of last year, an innovative, paradigm-shifting piece of equipment has recently been installed at Unimec’s manufacturing HQ’s: a completely custom-made testing machine enabling us to offer unprecedented levels of efficiency, safety, reliability and accuracy in all of our precision bevel gear reducers.

 As soon as this marvelous piece of equipment was installed, we immediately decided to put it to work: the results were jaw-dropping! As you can see in the following video, we analyzed the efficiency of an RS86 bevel gear reducer in a 1/1 ratio and nominal capacity of 10kW (technical specs for all of our products are available on our website and in our hardcopy catalogs).

We tested the bevel gear reducer with an input of 1500 rpm: based on our catalog, the theoretical efficiency was indicated at 90%; in reality, however, we were able to verify that the real efficiency is well above 95%!

This astonishing value is a testament to our unshakable commitment to uncompromised quality. Thanks to our new custom testing equipment we are now able to analyze the main performance aspects in our bevel gear reducers and certify all of the vital parameters of efficiency, safety and reliability.

We were so thrilled by the invaluable amount of technical information that we were able to gather from our bevel gear reducers that we immediately commissioned a second, similar piece of equipment, specifically designed to analyze the performance of our screw jacks.
