"Do as we did: REUSE IT", Unimec's campaign for an ethical and sustainable packaging management

The environment is at the heart of Unimec, a company that has always demonstrated a deep commitment to environmental protection and sustainability in its operations.

The awareness of the importance of pollution prevention, environmental protection, and continuous improvement in environmental performance is deeply rooted in our philosophy.

Indeed, as early as 2017, we obtained the UNI EN ISO 14001:2015 certification, a recognition that attests to our consistent attention and commitment to setting general objectives for environmental protection, ensuring sustainable production throughout the entire supply chain.

To reaffirm our commitment in this area, Unimec has launched the "Do as we did: REUSE IT" campaign, an initiative focused on the reuse of product packaging, a crucial step in reducing environmental impact and minimizing the amount of packaging destined for disposal.

The goal is to involve not only internal collaborators but also all stakeholders in the supply chain, promoting sustainable and responsible practices and committing to:

• Raising awareness among goods and services suppliers about environmental policies
• Transparently communicating our environmental performance to customers
• Responsibly and ethically rationalizing the use of resources, both natural and energetic
• Managing waste in a sustainable way, prioritizing recycling and recovery
• Promoting both within and outside the company a culture that prioritizes respect for the environment.

The final message that we at Unimec want to convey is simple: Unimec reuses packaging and encourages everyone to do the same.
