The Third Unimec’s Production Unit Is Almost Here: Bigger And More Efficient

Unimec’s branches are the clearest demonstrations of the company’s expansion: the Italian business went first to France (1992), then to Triveneto (2004), in 2009 they got to Spain, in 2011 to Germany and in 2014 to the US. But it is possible to keep on growing without moving.

In fact the magenta colored company has bought a new production unit, next to the others two that the society already owned (and that fill an area of over 15,000 sq. mt.) in order to move there all the Unimec Produzione Srl, the actual Unimec’s production unit, with all the connected machinery.

The reasons behind this choice are obviously based on the research of a greater quality; the new area is bigger, better equipped and located in a strategic position: all these factors allow a simpler logistic and productive organization.

The new productive unit is already operative but we will have to wait a bit longer for its inauguration: it will be in 2015 (the exact date is still to be determined) because, as usual, Unimec wants to go the whole hog and wait for the several innovations to be completed.

The new production unit is part of all the investments that Unimec - in the latest years - has decided to carry out believing in them all the way, like the manufacturing of a new spray booth or the purchase of a Leistriz tool machinery, fundamental to satisfy the growing needs of always more demanding customers.

All those brave investments have already yielded their benefits: in September 2014, Unimec has recorded a remarkable increase in the pieces production: Unimec proofs again to be a company that doesn’t forget its past and, thanks to this, is able to make winning decisions for the present, always looking towards the future.

A quality that turns out to have a positive outcome on its investments, on the staff competence, on the company policies and on the quality of its products: working with Ars Mecanica.
