UNIMEC BECOMES A TRADEMARK

Last November 27 Unimec S.p.A. officially registered its name and company logo.

Thank to the consultation of the studio Modiano, one of the greatest  European specialists in industrial propriety rights, last November 27,  Unimec S.p.A. officially registered its name and company logo, including all the geometries and chromatic tonalities used, finally becoming a "trademark" in the mechanical sector.

The choice of registering the trademark came from the importance Unimec has acquired over the years, today being considered a point of reference for the industries in the world in leading edge mechanical transmissions, to distinguish and safeguard the quality of the products and services provided.

"A consolidated reality such as Unimec is subject to imitations, - commented Mr. Maggioni, engineering manager of Unimec S.p.A. - on one hand, protecting the trademark prevents competitors from illicitly abusing the name "Unimec" to indicate presumed compatibility between various models, while on the other hand, it helps us to strengthen the company identity that, first of all, is felt and lived by all those working in this company."

The trademark also represents company assets, and, as such, acquires economic value. "Unimec" is now a company trademark registered in Italy and in the other 26 countries that are currently members of the European Union, proudly displaying "TM" above its name and trademark.
