Unimec once again opens its doors for students

After the success of the 2013 edition, also this year Unimec opens the doors of its production lines to the schools nearby holding the interest on the project “A Scuola d'Azienda” in collaboration with Confindustria Monza e Brianza and GiGroup. Unimec welcomed more than 40 students of the last year of Monza's state commercial and technical institute.

Unimec welcomed more than 40 students of the last year of Monza's state commercial and technical institute.

The guided visit at Unimec, the international leader of mechanical screw jacks, achieved resounding success among the students which, in few months, will have to face themselves to the world of work.

Unimec's COO, Alessandro Maggioni, gladly lend himself to the role of guide during the visit at the production lines because “we want to offer hope in a Country in which hope is less and less” but also to make the students understand that in life “you get nothing without sacrifices”.

The students - alert, curious and always ready to ask questions about the production of screw jacks and blade couplings - agreed on the fact that the tour inside Unimec has been as important as a school lesson.

The opportunity to get in touch with the world of work has been really appreciated because allowed them to discover in first person how the productive processes work inside a big company, matching the theoretical notions learned at school with the practice and also to have a better idea on the professional path they are going to take.
