Unimec, The Power To Get Up Again: 13 Years Later, The Tornado Is Just a Memory
Who would have thought, that miserable and sadly unforgettable 7th of July 2001 that, after the tornado that brought Unimec on its knees, the Italian company would have been able to get up again, go ahead among the ruins, rebuilt and, in a few months, lay robust foundations to become stronger and bigger than before?
From that day, which marked indelibly the history of Unimec, 13 years have passed.
13 years of sacrifices, daily loyalty and commitment, of course, but also of company growth and development of its competence: investments in innovation and revolutionary patents and important achievements and satisfactions that have made Unimec a leader company in the mechanical handling sector all over the world.
The credit of this accomplishment has to be given, without a doubt, to the determination and the entrepreneurial spirit of Luigi Maggioni who, back to that 7th of July 2001, got badly injured under the ruins of his “creature”, the headquarter, and only one year later he was already attending the ribbon cutting ceremony of the new Unimec’s buildings.
Luigi maggioni, together with his son and daughter Alessandro e Stefania, is the engine that embodies the corporate philosophy: a push toward the top for every valuable collaborators that make efforts everyday to make Unimec a reference reality in the realization of “Made in Italy” mechanical screw jacks which are popular, admired and longed all over the world.
