New Screw Jack Testing Center: Unimec’s latest investment sets a new benchmark in the industry.

 Our mechanical Screw Jacks are used in a variety of challenging applications, from telescopic stadium bleachers (https://www.unimec.eu/it/notizie/news-vancouver.html ) to railway bridge lifting, aerospace and nuclear; due to their nature and the peculiar safety standards required by these applications, quality, reliability and reduced maintenance must be guaranteed at above standard levels.

Thanks to our constant exchange with the Customer, the R&D Department recommends the correct size and specification of the components; we rely on state-of-the-art tools and equipment to offer the best advice and ideal solution for the application.

Last year we implemented a state-of-the-art testing center for our Bevel Gear Reducers (https://www.unimec.eu/en/news/testing-our-bevel-gear-reducers-unimec-s-latest-generation-testing-center.html), capable of performing extremely comprehensive testing and analysis on almost the entire range of our Bevel Gear Reducers, from the smallest Size 54 to our larger Size 250.

The next natural step was to implement a similar testing center for all of our Screw Jacks.

This new, totally custom-made, testing center was delivered to our main factory in Milan at the end of 2019 and will be fully operational in the next couple of weeks. Thanks to this unique testing center we will be able to perform the most comprehensive Screw Jack testing and analysis that the world has ever seen.
