Platform
A platform is a plane normally translated on the vertical axis with the help of various lifting systems, such as hydraulic or mechanical jacks. The use of a Screw Jack offers a variety of advantages such as its inherent self-locking mechanics allowing to maintain its position while supporting the load even in case of motor failures or power outages.
Scissor-lift
The translation is obtained with the help of translating nuts, allowing a consistent, reliable, safe and accurate positioning of the moving sections. A scissor lift system can be made of multiple mechanically-synchronized screw jacks controlled by a single motor.
Calender
The calender is a machine tool featuring two or more cylindrical rollers.
