The RoHS Directive (2002/95/CE) is a European directive which aims to protect human and environmental safety imposing some restrictions on the use of certain hazardous materials employed in the manufacturing of different types of electronic and electrical equipment.

Is it possible to tell more than thirty years of history in a bit more than two minutes? Unimec did it: from the company's foundation in 1981 to the opening of the subsidiaries all around Europe passing through a general overview of the products, services and warranties that the leader company in the production of mechanical screw jacks and bevel gearboxes is able to offer.

60.000 square meters of exhibition space, exhibitors from 93 different countries and more than 35.000 visitors: these are the figures of Motek exhibition 2012, the mechanical trade fair which took place in Stuttgart at the beginning of October where Unimec has participated as Unimec Deutschland.

The year we just left behind has been undoubtedly very important for Unimec which proved itself to be leader in its sector also out of Italy thanks to the several exhibitions all around Europe and turning out to be a well-advanced company with innovations such as the app for iPad and iPhone and also the corporate video.

After the German fair FMB, Unimec prepares itself for another exhibition once again thanks to its retailer: this time it's the Portuguese Reiman, partner of Lombard Company for more the one year. This company, in collaboration with Unimec Hispania, will expose Unimec products at EMAF 2012.

Less than a week is left for Stuttgart Unimec and, as we told you some weeks ago, Unimec is preparing at its best to leave a permanent mark in a difficult market like the German one in which we already conquered a main role thanks to the unflagging work of Unimec Deutschland.

We have often highlighted that one of the Unimec's point of strength, beyond the quality of its production, is the Technical Department qualification (highly specialized and in constant training) which allows our Staff to find cutting-edge solutions suitable for every requirement, from the simplest projects to the most hard-working one.

Thanks to its quality products and to the untiring work of Unimec Deutschland, Unimec is now well popular in the German market and the partecipation to several internationally important events (like Motek or Hannover Messe) is a proof of it.

In 2011 Unimec took part in Motek as Unimec Deutschland, leaving his mark in what is known as one of the most important sector exhibition in Europe. One year after the Italian company is already a well-established reality in Germany and, stronger than ever, makes a comeback in Stuttgart.
