Lateral Loads / radial Loads

A lateral load occurs when force is applied to the actuator radially rather than along the extension axis. It can be generated by an unsupported displaced load, insufficiently secured mounting, or external loads pushing against the actuator.

Radial load is the force exerted perpendicular to the axis of symmetry of an object and whose line of action passes through this axis.
